So I moved into this beautiful (ahem, overpriced) brownstone about 4 weeks ago. Let’s just say moving from Georgia > Boston has some serious sticker shock! But she’s oh-so-beautiful…very Carrie Bradshaw-ish, don’t you think?
Y’all should have seen the “before” interior pictures…although I’m way too horrified to share them publicly. Let’s just say there was an assortment of old, dirty carpet from 1995, broken glass & decade old shrimp tails laying around (true story…how the cat that was living here didn’t find & eat those shrimp is beyond me. Gross.) Thankfully my parents came up and helped me scrub, sweep, and clean every single nook & cranny. With a lot…and I mean a LOT…of TLC, this place is finally turning into a home…shout out to Janan & Kal- couldn’t have done it without y’all!
First up, finding inspiration for the vibe I wanted. While the finished product is nowhere near ready to show yet, I’ll leave you with a few pictures that got my decorating juices flowing…
