Outdoor Hammocks

Yesterday, it was 70 degrees here in Boston. 70!!! What a difference 6 weeks makes:

Needless to say, the day was glorious & we enjoyed a long walk down the esplanade, down by the Charles River. There were so many people laying on blankets, beach towels, and even a select few in hammocks. Those people got me thinking, is there anything more relaxing than laying in a comfortable hammock in the middle of a warm day and taking a cat nap?

I. Think. Not.

And so the obsession with outdoor hammocks begins. What a serene, charming addition to any outdoor space. Done tastefully, of course. Here are a few inspirational pictures:
