The newborn stage absolutely flew by – as everyone told me it would. Part of me feels like Duke just arrived and the other part of me doesn’t even remember life before him. We are so head over heesls in love with our baby and our new family. Even Mela has warmed up to Duke and I foresee many fun adventures ahead for these two!
Duke has been such a joy since day one. His temperment is so calm, sweet and silly. He is easy going like his daddy and laughs at himself like his mama. Our little guy is the biggest ham and a total flirt! We have been incredibly lucky that he is an excellent sleeper, a great eater and an overall easy baby. I certainly do not take that for granted. We also have found great success with sleep training and following the Moms on Call / Taking Cara Babies schedule (we follow both, in different ways). If the first three months have been this magical, I can’t even imagine what’s in store for us in the future! Below are some milestones and changes that I found to be exciting with each month.
