Neutral Spaces.

Interior Design

I hope everyone had a very wonderful holiday season. The day(s) after Christmas are always the most depressing of the year for me- tree comes down, lights & decorations removed, the last of the cookies are eaten…it’s always a bit blah. This, however, is the perfect time to refresh your space! A great way to start off the year is with a clean, classic look.

If you’re thinking of redecorating, or sprucing up your home, a great way to start is with a neutral pallet. Check out these beautiful neutral living spaces. Once you’ve got this down, you can always add a pop of color here & there- pillows, blankets, artwork, fresh flowers…but a neutral space is the perfect place to start. May this inspire you to revamp!

[…] Now, while I agree that one of the easiest ways to make a small space feel smaller is to have it messy, disorganized & cluttered room, I’m talking about the other kind of clean- streamlined & clean to the eye! I am a huge advocate for neutral furniture & white linens. (Don’t be scared of white sheets or towels- you can bleach anything!) I strongly recommend sticking to a neutral zone- use whites, creams, grays, glass, lucite…these all work well together and help create a clean, classic, beautiful home that can’t help but look bigger & nicer! For more inspiration on neutral spaces, see this post. […]
