Same Space, Different Season

With each new season comes different weather, different colors and a different design style. The last time I photographed my space was in the start of Summer and the vibe was completely different. While the main furniture pieces stayed the same, I changed the general layout and many of the accessories to give our space more of a winter vibe. Of course, since we are in full Christmas mode right now we had to make way for the tree, stocking, etc. It is so festive and cheerful, I just love it!

In the below pictures you will see the difference in the decor style from Summer to Winter. You’ll notice that many of the changes are minor, such as swapping out art, bringing in heavier textiles, including more seasonally appropriate plants and darker hues. All of these seasonal swaps are an easy, inexpensive way to give you home a huge update without a huge cost. I hope this inspires you and gives you some ideas to make small changes that have a big impact.
