The Perfect Laundry Room

Laundry room

I don’t know about you, but sometimes it feels like I just do load after load of laundry. I can’t imagine how those of you with multiple kids do it- there’s got to be a better system! If there’s one thing that makes this somewhat daunting task easier, it’s having a clean, nice space dedicated to laundry. If I had any of the following spaces, I sure wouldn’t mind spending some time in there! How cheerful & great are they?!

And my all-time fave. Everything about this space is FABULOUS!!!!:

After seeing these gorgeous rooms, it seems that the ideal laundry room has the following 5 features:

1. Distinct space (doesn’t have to be a room- #3 above is a closet!)

2. Enclosed washer/dryer (best with a countertop)

3. Proper storage & shelf space (for folding & hanging)

4. Sink (washing, soaking, removing stains, etc)

5. Lighting (makes it feel more like a real room)

*Bonus: if you can swing a space with a window or add some tile back splash*

Are you inspired yet? Here are a few key pieces to incorporate into your new dream space:

laundry

{washer-dryer // wicker baskets // quartz countertops // tension rod //

pendant light // rug // laundry basket // wash lettering}
