One Nursery, Three Ways

Design Plan, E-design, Nursery

I’ve got a very exciting project to reveal!!! One of my best friends is having a baby & she’s enlisted my help with her sweet girl’s nursery. It’s her first child, so I know this time is full of emotions- excitement, fear, love, anticipation…I truly appreciate her allowing me to share in this special time with her & I am forever grateful for this experience.

We’ve been going back & forth on decor styles. She’s hoping for a calming, yet interesting vibe, with hints of light blue & blush. A few inspiration pictures…

She’s open to a variety of styles (modern, rustic, classic) and so I told her I’d put together three different style nurseries, all incorporating the color scheme she desires. She already has the crib & dresser/changing table picked out & they’re the perfect neutral base to start:

There are a lot of great pieces here that can be mixed & matched to create the nursery of her dreams! Here are 3 design schemes I’ve put together:

Nursery #1

Nursery One

1. Crib 2. Benjamin Moore Gray Owl  3. Mirror 4. Elodie rug (another option here) 5. Sheepskin rug (to throw over if the rug looks too busy) 6. Dresser 7. Animal prints  8. floor lamp 9. Blush pillow 10. Pouf 11.  Glider

Nursery #2

Nursery Two

1. Crib 2. Ralph Lauren Lustre 3. Mirror 4. Blue rug 5. Drum light 6. Dresser 7. Flamingo picture 8. Side table (another option here) 9. Blush pillow 10. Ottoman 11. Glider

Nursery #3

Nursery Three

1. Crib 2. Benjamin Moore silver satin 3. Mirror 4. Overdyed rug 5. Table lamp  6. Dresser 7. Peacock art (<–I am obsessed with this!) 8. Shelving (another option here) . 9. Blush pillow 10. Baskets 11. Rocker (comes in various colors/patterns)

There you have it! I am keeping my fingers crossed that she likes one of the designs?! Or at least an item or two 😉

Which nursery design is your favorite?!
