A Stunning Jackson Hole Wedding

Jackson, Vacation, Weddings

Confession: I am WAYYY behind on my Wanderlust Wednesday posts. I have about 10 cities to catch y’all up on! Please forgive me that these are months behind, but better late than never, right?! (also: I wanted to filter through my hundreds of photos!)

In June, we headed to the unbelievably gorgeous Jackson Hole, Wyoming for a family wedding. We decided to extend this wedding weekend into a week long vacation. After all, it’s not every day that you get the opportunity to visit Jackson! (You can see my Jackson dream home tour here)

Let me start by saying, I had no expectations for this trip. All I knew about Jackson Hole was that it was (a) an expensive town, (b) a high end ski resort and (c) a pain in the ass to get to. While all 3 are very true, this place blew my mind. To say the landscape is one-of-a-kind stunning is an understatement. I mean, this was the wedding backdrop:

ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?! These pics were taken on my iPhone 4 people! Can you even imagine how stunning this is in person? I was constantly looking around saying “wow” and “is this real life”. It’s that beautiful.

Another shot of the beautiful space- there was just a tent on the whole plot of land!

This wedding. You guys…if there’s one thing I’ve learned about weddings from this trip, it’s that with an overly supportive family, a loving group of friends willing to travel this far & beautiful scenery, you can’t go wrong. The ceremony was phone-free (which I love!) but I was able to snap a few photos of the gorgeous reception setup…

The gorgeous tablescape- loved the eggplant + burnt orange color combo (they had 20 person farmhouse tables with wooden chairs…the perfect rustic look)

Could this bartender have asked for a more beautiful backdrop?!

Late night donut & coffee food truck…such a fun idea!

We laughed, we cried, we ate & drank a ton and danced our booties off all night. As a 7 time bridesmaid & 20+ wedding attendee, I can truly say that this was hands down top 3 (if not #1!) most special & beautiful weddings I have ever been to. You could feel the love and the positive energy was so contagious. We were all truly sad when the night came to and end.

Thank you Stef & Ryan for letting us be a part of your special day….we had an absolute ball!
