Happy Friday Y’all! Spring has officially sprung here in Boston and it is b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l! This week was filled with warm temps, blue skies and lots of time spent outdoors. I just LOVE warm weather and I couldn’t be happier that it is here to stay! This weekend is a big one – we’ve got my dad’s birthday today (happy birthday dad!) and Mother’s Day on Sunday. Times like this I certainly wish I lived around the corner from family to host a backyard BBQ for family…hopefully next year! Whether you’re celebrating from near or far, I hope you are able to show some love to mamas in your life. Between my mom and dad this weekend, we sure do have a lot to celebrate! Enjoy your weekend 🙂
The stunning trees on our street
+ The Brimfield Fair officially kicked off on Tuesday here in Mass. This massive, outdoor market is known for vintage treasures and killer steals, if you’re willing to sort through the junk. Read details here. Anyone been? I’m thinking of going…
+ This Quiche Lorraine recipe would be perfect for a Mother’s Day brunch (or any brunch really) – it’s sure to be a crowd pleaser. Serve with a simple green salad and some mixed fruit for a tasty spread!
+ In charge of bringing dessert? This strawberries and cream angel cake recipe looks to die for.
+ Last minute gift ideas any mom will love: a straw tote (under $100), a floral silk scarf, some outdoor dinner wear or a new pitcher via Aerin X Williams Sonoma (love every piece in this line!)
+ Obsessed with this neutral spring trench
+ Four habits for a healthier you – well rounded, all aspects of health
