With 4th of July just around the corner (how is it already here?!), I thought now would be a great time to give a full roundup of some of my favorite home and entertaining products for summer months. Between BBQs, birthday parties, cookouts and spontaneous gatherings with friends, it’s important to have all of the necessary pieces around so that you feel comfortable and ready to entertain.
With our new back porch up and running, we have had countless groups of people over for dinner or drinks. Thank goodness I snagged a nice quality – and even nicer looking – melamine set to make entertaining easy. I like using an outdoor specific dining set because there is less worry about chipping, cleaning, breaking etc. Plus, the pieces are so cute that I just love using them!
Fun Fact: I also got my parents the same set as a surprise when my mom redecorated their back porch and they love them too!
In addition to outdoor serving pieces I always like to make sure I have enough cute napkins, pillows, lanterns, planters and candles. There are so many great resources as well to find cute outdoor pieces for a reasonable price. Favorite stores include World Market, Target, Pottery Barn, Crate & Barrel, Wayfair and Ballard Designs. An easy tip is to stick to a color palette (mine is black, white and green) and then mix + match the patterns, shapes & sizes.
Below is a big roundup of items – from exterior dining to entertaining to seating to decor – it’s every thing you could need for a successful Summer Soiree! Most of the non-furniture pieces are under $50 and excellent hostess gifts as well (something nice to bring if you’re staying with friends for a weekend). I hope you enjoy!
