So I’ve got a good friend in Atlanta who just purchased her first home (woo hoo, congrats!) and she’s looking to do a little pre-move in renovation. First matter of business: upgrade their average/not too exciting fireplace into something special. Seeing that she loves Joanna Gaines, shiplap is the natural answer! Let’s take a look…
The dark brick fireplace will be painted white, so we are thinking white shiplap on the top half with a new reclaimed wood mantle (1 piece).
What do y’all think about a shiplap fireplace?
I’ve always loved these but never knew the name for them! I think you have a wonderful vision and a new reclaimed wood mantle will be the perfect touch 🙂
