Happy Friday Y’all!
This week was a normal one, without an overly planned schedule, which was really nice. Our weekend will be pretty low key as well – a group dinner at a local steakhouse on Saturday, a couple of client progress visits over the weekend, meeting a friend’s new baby & hopefully some gym time as well. A lot of “adulting” happening over here…
Packing: With less than 4 weeks until we move, we’ve made a lot of progress on the selling front. So far we have parted ways with two beds, two TVs, a desk, a kitchen cart, three mirrors and two dressers. Progress! We’re really trying to purge as much as possible and only keep what (a) will fit our new place and (b) what we love. Cleansing all of the sugar from my body! Oh man, I went HAM on some Halloween candy and I am paying for it now. My tummy aches, my skin has a few blemishes & I’m feeling fatigued. Anyone else feel the immediate effects of sugar? I like Dr. Hyman’s ideas for a sugar detox as well as this nutritionist’s article regarding our sugar addiction.
Planning a birthday trip to New York City! Ever since I’ve lived in Boston, I’ve been fortunate enough to make an annual birthday trek up (down?) to NYC. While we usually visit 3-4 times per year, my birthday trip is my favorite because it’s right before Christmas so the entire city is decorated and festive! I’ve got a few “must do” items on my list but looking for new suggestions – where to eat, where to shop, what holiday events to attend, etc. Please send all of your ideas my way!
